Survival instincts kick in. \nIn this Post-Apocalyptic landscape radiation oozes everywhere. Things survive underground and hunting groundhog is not a new thing. Finding their burrows in the middle of a Marauder camp is. Target the game food but don’t rush into danger till you have cleared the rest of the field. \nNavigate through the marauders taking one situation at a time. Under fire there are surprise targets and Pragmatic rats. If the rats reach the game food they will infect your hunt. \nAdding a kicker to that\, your out of bullets\, think twice and load the ammo you find.

The shelter found is being overrun by Marauders on one side and booby trap land mines stops your exit. Clear the field of mines with your trusty shotgun but Don’t waste time. The unwelcome guests are at your back\, coming thru the window and openings in the walls. The mission- stay alive by concealing behind barriers and defend. This may be an ultimate challenge if you have not practiced- shooting rifle off hand.

DESCRIPTION:Saturday April 16th Rifle Fun Shoot \nKnow Your Limits!\nDouble Match Double prize Money!\nFirst Match is .22 KYL at 100 yards \n1st Place is $100 cash and bragging rights.\n2nd Place is $20 cash. \ncheck-in at 10 AM.\nStart after safety briefing at 10:30\nFinish at 1:00\nThe cost of this Match Event – $20 \n__________________________ \nSecond Match is .223/556 KYL at 100 yards \n1st Place is $100 cash and bragging rights.\n2nd Place is $20 cash. \ncheck-in before 1 PM.\nStart after safety briefing by 1:30\nFinish at 3:30\nThe cost of this Match Event – $20 \nThis Fun Shoot is open to All skill levels even first timers.\nBring a Rifle and ammo for the match you want to shoot or shoot Both. \n  \nWhat is Know Your Limits (KYL) \nYou engage a KYL steel target by starting with the largest target first and shooting each subsequently smaller target gaining points for each target struck. You can stop at any target to keep the points you’ve earned. The catch is that if you miss\, you lose all your points. To get as many points as possible you need- to know your limits. \nThe know your limits drill (KYL) is a great way to practice your marksmanship skills.\nTarget consist of 7 targets sized from bigger to smallest: 8/7/6/5/4/3/2″ \n  \nRules \nThere are 7 targets in total. Hitting a target allows the shooter to progress to the next smaller target or opt out to keep his points. There are 3 sets making up the match. \nThe shooter can opt to stop at any time. If the shooter proceeds to the next target and takes the shot but misses he loses all of his points and is out of the match for that round with a score of zero\, hence the name “know your limits”. \nThe target stand is placed at 100 yards for the match. These matches are Open Division where shooters may fire from the prone\, sitting\, or bench positions using bipods\, sand bags- front and or rear as rests but no sleds please. Iron sights\, red dot or optics are allowed. \nTargets must be shot in order\, largest to smallest.  Target must visibly “swing” to be counted as a hit (Range Officials decision is final).  If a target is shot at and missed or shot out of order\, you lose all accumulated points for that set. You may stop at any time and keep all points earned for that set.  If time runs out and you have not missed\, you keep your points for that set. \n\nA Match is 3 sets shot. Score for a match is the total from those 3 sets.\n•    Target point assignment: 1-2-3-4-5-6-7 = 28 possible points per round\n•    There is a 3-minute time limit per set starting at the buzzer after load and make ready.\n•    NO COACHING – Shooter is responsible for hitting correct target\, doping wind\, etc.\n•    Scores are announced at end of each match. Ties go to a shoot-off w/1-minute time limit.\n\nDon’t forget you could possibly win $100 at each Match = $200.

DESCRIPTION:Outpost Range Rifle League\nWho: Any person with little prior Rifle experience and up.\nLocation: Held at Outpost Range Main Rifle Range.\n-2930 South Cauthen Pt. Lecanto\, Fl. 34461.\nDates: Starting April 21\, 2022 for 4 weeks. (April 21\, 28\, May 5\, 12)\nTimes: Thursday Nights 5:30- 7 pm.\nDuration:  1 ½  hours\nParticipants: A maximum of 20 shooters.\nAge: 12 Youth to Adult.\nFee: $40.00 one-time fee per person to join this league competition.\nEquipment: -Bring your own max 308 caliber and have an Outpost Range Card.\nDivisions: Open Class- Divisions Grouped: Youth 12- 17 and Adult 18 up.\nDistance: 100 yards.\nScoring: Shooter is scored out of a possible 500 points and 50 X’s.\n-scoring maybe posted online and in the range for public viewing.\nPrizes: $100 to first place winner. \nYouth/ Minor Requirements: \nResponsible Mature Youth/Minor ages 12 to 17 are required to be accompanied by a Parent/Legal Guardian or Staff at the range. The parent responsible for the Youth/Minor may shoot from the firing line lane next to the youth shooter. \nSafety Rules – \n– In the interests of safety and the well-being\, all competitors must be able to set up\, load\, fire and break down rifle under control and without undue difficulty. If\, in the opinion of the Range Safety Officer (RSO)\, the competitor shows undue difficulty the competitor may be asked to skip the competition until further practice or difficulty is resolved.\n\n1. Follow the instructions of the Range Officer. Give attention and listen to the commands given. Ask questions if you do not understand what is said. \n\nAlways inspect your equipment before shooting. Damaged equipment should be repaired or replaced to avoid injuries.\nAt the Firing Line- AIM your rifle only in the direction of your target. The rifle must always be pointed down range. Always be sure you know which target is yours and that it is safe to shoot. If you’re not sure take a closer look\, if you’re still not sure\, do not shoot and ask.\nOnce you have finished the string stand behind the yellow waiting line. This helps the other shooters know your finished shooting.\nAlways walk; never run\, on the range. If you run\, you might accidentally trip and fall.\nAlways use correct ammo for your rifle. No steel core allowed.\nFollow the Outpost Range SOP.\n\n  \nCompetition Rules –\n1. 4-week program\, minimum of 3 weeks scoring required for the grand prizes and Bragging Rights.\n2. Shooter may either drop their lowest score from all 4 weeks or not attend one week.\n3. Shooter will fire 10 rounds within a 3 minute timespan per string\, for a total of 5 strings.\n4. After each strings the shooters take a 10-minute break.\n5. Any unfired or miss rounds would be counted as zero points.\n6. A round touching the line marking the edge of a greater scoring area shall be given the higher score.\n7. A Shooter is scored out of a possible 500 points and possible 50 x’s.\n-X rings are counted for tie breakers.\n8. Order of shooting the 5 strings-\n-The first 3 strings are shot following the order of these shooting positions:\n* #1-seated supported\, #2-seated unsupported and #3-prone supported.\n*#4 & #5 are shot at the shooters discretion from above positions (Shooters Choice).\n9. After each round\, shooters will use the buddy scoring system with the person next to them. Each buddy would score the others then return the score sheet to the original shooter. At the end of each night shooters will turn in their score sheet to the RSO’s where final score is recorded.\n-It is the responsibility of the shooter to verify their score is correct.\n10. At the end of 4 weeks\, the shooter with the highest total score will be chosen as winner.\n11. Shooters may show up 20 minutes early to practice or sight-in following the RSOs’ range commands.\n12. Shooters are reminded this is a family friendly competition and there will be zero tolerance for any foul play\, horseplay\, belligerence\, or poor attitude. Be Happy\, Safe and Have Fun.
