Have you heard of Image Based Decisional Drills?

   *  The concept starts with the fact that we humans are primarily visual creatures, so we should train with visual cues.

   *  Making one quick, good decision is a skill that can be trained and exercised.

   *  We have many tools at our disposal when we encounter situations, but if we train only with our firearm, then that’s the only tool we consider under stress.

We will also quickly cover the concept of reactionary zones.  The farther away a potential assailant is, the more time you have to react.  When you have more time, you have more tools that might be effective in stopping the threat.  So, how far is far enough, and how can you gauge that distance in an instant?  Lori and I took a Reactionary Zones course at the AG&AG National Conference and we have some tips for you.
