Positive IDentification (PID) Shoot- (Target Focus Skill). Shoot Scheduled for Feb 11th 1-3 Pm at Outpost
The first 25 people who sign up can come.
Required equipment for this fun shoot
- Semi Auto Pistol-2 mags, 2rounds per mag.
- Cylinder Revolver-2rounds to load in cylinder and 2 rounds to reload.
- All Safety equipment- Eyes Ears and Outpost Range requirements.
Stage Activity Steps-
1- Place bagged firearm on table, muzzle orientated down range. Load two rounds in each of the two magazines.
2- Shooters then will face away from table toward firing line benches staying in the box square.
3- Shooter waits for further instruction.
Shoot Activity Steps-
1- On signal, Shooter will safely turn around and pick up their firearm and one mag.
2- Shooter will load first mag and engage color target notified by RSO.
3- Shooter will fire 2 rds at proper trgt and do emergency mag change.
4- Shooter will do mag change with firearm in their Workspace.
5- Shooter will grab second mag from table and reload firearm.
6- Shooter will fire 2 more rds at proper trgt, then unload and show clear.
7- Shooters time will stop once firearm is clear.
Shooters scored on correct impacts on PID trgts, as well as overall time.
Any Shooter that is colored blind please notify RSO activity is accommodated with numbers.
Required equipment:
- Pistol (semi-automatic or revolver, bring what you’ve got)
- Target ammunition (not self-defense ammo)
- Paper targets if you’re going to shoot at the paper range
- Eye protection, ear protection, chamber flag
You must have a membership at Outpost. The day Range pass is $20 (Which is good for 1 year). For those who need to get one please come 1 hour early to take the quick class.
Then the shoot cost $15
If you have a Full membership then this event falls under your membership with regular fees apply
